Ghost Rider Comics

Ghost Rider is the name of several fictional supernatural anti-heroes who appeared in Marvel Comics. Marvel earlier used the name for the Western character whose name later changed to Night Rider and subsequently to Phantom Rider.

The first Ghost Rider was acrobatic motorcyclist Johnny Blaze, who to save his mentor, agreed to give his soul to "Satan" (later known as an arch-demon named Mephisto). Instead, his soul be bound by the entity named Zarathos. When using power Zarathos "Blaze of meat consumed by the fire of hell, making his head into a skull. A fiery motorcycle and mounted it uses a trademark of fire explosion of the hand bones. He played in the 1972-1983 series.

Next Ghost Rider series (1990-98) shows Danny Ketch as a new Ghost Rider. After her sister injured by ninja gangsters, Ketch came in contact with a motorcycle that somehow contains the mystical essence had been enchanted by a "Spirit of Vengeance. This spirit had originally said a Puritan man named Noble Kale, an ancestor of both Blaze and Ketch. This was however later claim.

Johnny Blaze appeared in the series in the 1990s as a supporting character, and reduced to Ketch's brother. In the mid 2000s comics, Blaze is Ghost Rider again, replacing Ketch.
