Ex Machina Comics

Ex Machina is a creator of comic book series created by American Brian K. Vaughan and Tony Harris, and published by DC Comics under the Wildstorm trail.

Series details the life of Mitchell Hundred (also known as The Great Machine), the world's first and only super hero, behind his actions on 9 / 11, elected mayor of New York City. Hundreds of stories set during the term of office, and interwoven with flashbacks to the past as the Great Machine. This, the second series exploring the political situation in Hundred, and the mystery of the superpower.

Ex Machina was launched in 2004 as part of Wildstorm DC Comics' trail. Vaughan has stated that this series would last for fifty issues.

The title comes from the Latin comic phrase "deus ex machina", and also as a reference to super hero persona's Hundred, Great Machine, in his now ex-Machine ". In the first edition, Mitchell said he opted for The name "Big Machine" is based on a quote about the society by Thomas Jefferson. why is one of the series' recurring themes is the tendency of people to depend on their governments and have always wanted to save them become.

Vaughan said that comics are "born out of my anger with what he regarded as our political leaders today (on both sides of the aisle).

Vaughan has admitted the series as a means to the real world of contemporary politics to discover too, but stated that the subject of open discussion is not something he prefers.
